**About the Job: Interaction Designer, Payments**

Google follows  a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." As an Interaction Designer on Google  Payments team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our users' online transactions are secure, seamless, and user-friendly.

Your work can  be integral to the spirit of World Safe ePay Day, creating designs that build trust and confidence in digital payments.

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.

- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes.

- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

- Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

 

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 4 years of experience in product design or UX.

- Experience designing across multiple platforms and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mock-ups and prototypes.

- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

 

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

- 1 year of experience leading design projects.

- Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).

- Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process.

- Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy.

- **Promote Awareness:** Educate the public about the importance of secure online payments and the risks of cyber threats.

- **Build Trust:** Foster a sense of confidence among users by highlighting the security measures in place to protect their data.

- **Encourage Best Practices:** Share tips and best practices for secure online transactions, such as using strong passwords and recognizing phishing attempts.

- **Celebrate Innovations:** Highlight the advancements in payment security technology and the efforts of companies working to make online transactions safer.

It also serves as a day to recognize the designers, artisans, and fashion enthusiasts who keep this garment relevant and stylish.

 

**Goals:**

- **Cultural Appreciation:** Highlight the cultural significance of blouses across different societies and historical periods.

- **Fashion Celebration:** Showcase the latest trends, designs, and innovations in blouse fashion.

- **Artisan Recognition:** Celebrate the craftsmanship of artisans and designers who create unique and beautiful blouses.

- **Historical Education:** Educate the public about the history and evolution of blouses in fashion.

 

**Activities and Events:**

- **Fashion Shows:** Host fashion shows featuring blouse designs from various cultures and eras, highlighting both traditional and contemporary styles.
